It is hard to believe we are already at the end of our Eastern Sierra series. We have taken you from the heat of the valley to the ancient Bristlecone pines, but for this finale, we saved some of the most rugged and beautiful moments for last.
This Sunday, we are releasing the final episode: "The Mountain Always Wins."
Where We Went In this episode, we set out to tackle a mix of classic Sierra beauty and some serious off-road grit.
Lake George: We spent the day hiking and casting a line in the crystal-clear water. If you know us, you know we can’t resist an alpine lake!
Mt. Morrison: We revisited the stunning views of Mt. Morrison—a landscape that never gets old no matter how many times we see it.
Tobacco Flat: We took the 4Runner on a unique off-roading adventure out to Tobacco Flat to test the truck and escape the crowds.
Why "The Mountain Always Wins"? As much as we plan, nature always has the final say. Whether it is weather, terrain, or just the reality of life on the road, sometimes you have to make the tough call to turn back or cut a trip short.
