Fall in Bryce Canyon: Clear Skies, Stargazing, and the Start of Our Fall Series!

We got so lucky with the weather on this trip to the Bryce Canyon area! The days were nice and clear with highs in the mid-70s, and the leaves are just starting to turn. It made exploring so much fun, and we captured tons of beautiful footage along the way.

Camped Under the Stars

For this stop, we camped out at Tom’s Best Dispersed Camping, and it truly lived up to the hype! A huge thanks to Kyle and Michelle from The Wandering Shores for recommending this area in one of their videos—definitely check out their channel if you haven't yet!

The dark skies out here were absolutely unreal. Stepping right outside our rig at night and looking up to see the Milky Way glowing directly above our trailer was magic. We were so excited to capture this shot right from camp! 📸✨

What’s Coming Next

We visited so many neat spots on this leg of the trip, and we’re working on editing all the footage right now. The full video will be ready in the next few weeks, and we can’t wait to bring you all along for the start of this Fall series! 🎥🍂

Road Update: Our First Stop in Angelus Oaks & Big Bear 🌲🚐

 

We’re officially on the road, and our first leg is in the books!

We stumbled into our current boondocking spot completely by accident—Jenks Lake East Dispersed Camping in Angelus Oaks, CA. It sits about 26 miles south of Big Bear Lake, tucked quietly into the pine trees. We’ll be sharing the exact GPS coordinates in our upcoming video, but so far, it’s been a peaceful setup with daytime temperatures sitting comfortably in the high 60s. 🍂💻

Balancing Work & Play

This first stop has been the perfect balance of getting things done and enjoying the mountains. We’ve been spending a lot of time at our desks making major progress on our upcoming Glacier video edit.

When we take breaks, we’ve been:

• Exploring short local hiking trails.

• Driving into town and checking out Big Bear.

• Cruising the surrounding mountain roads.

Next, we are packing up and heading toward Bryce Canyon National Park. 

We’ve actually tried visiting Bryce Canyon twice in the past, but bad weather got in the way both times and kept us from exploring. We're keeping our fingers crossed that the third time’s the charm! 🤞✨

Glacier Update + Our Fall Trip Has Officially Begun!

An exciting update and quick check-in from us! 🏔️🍂

Our Glacier, Montana video is taking a little extra time to complete. We captured so much incredible footage up there, and we want to make sure we give it all the care it deserves before sharing it with you!

On top of that, our fall trip has officially begun! We're heading through the heartland of the US with no set plan—we're just hitting the open road, keeping things completely flexible, and exploring whatever looks interesting along the way. 🗺️

Don't worry, the laptops are coming along, so editing on Glacier will keep rolling right from the road between stops.

Thank you all so much for being so patient with us. We can’t wait to share the Glacier video with you and bring you along for all the moments on the road ahead!
