Goodbye Havasu, Hello Quartzsite! (Plus Our Meetup Schedule)

What an amazing start to our winter camping season! ☀️

It is hard to believe we are already wrapping up our time here in Lake Havasu. This was officially our first-ever time attending an event with the Xscapers RV Club, and we honestly didn’t know what to expect.

Looking back at this week, our hearts are truly full. We have had such a wonderful time reconnecting with old friends and making SO many new ones.

We have to give a HUGE special thank you to Kyle and Michelle Shore from The Wandering Shores. Thank you for welcoming Bob and me into your circle and letting us tag along with your close friends group. Everyone was so incredibly friendly—we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to this community.

This group now holds a special place in our hearts, and we are so grateful for the memories we made with every single one of you.

But as always in RV life, the journey continues...

Up Next: Quartzsite! 🌵🚐

We are packing up and heading to "The Q" (The Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show).

We have a very busy Saturday planned! If you are going to be in Quartzsite, we would absolutely love to see you.

  • Location: The MORryde Booth (Inside the Big Tent)

  • What's Happening: We will be hanging out with our good friends Stan and Rhonda from Over The Hill Adventures. Come by to say hi to us, meet Stan and Rhonda, check out the awesome gear at the booth, and—most importantly—check out the raffle! 🎟️✨

  • What's Happening: This is the big one! Everyone is invited to join us for the official Content Creator Meet & Greet. It’s a casual time to mingle, chat, and hang out with us and many other creators.

Camping All Week at Q26

If you can't make it on Saturday, don't worry! We will be camping at Q26 for the entire week.

Please feel free to come find us and say hello—we’d love to hang out by the campfire.

We can’t wait to see you in the desert! Safe travels, everyone!

Happy 2026! Kickstarting Desert Season in Lake Havasu!

Happy New Year, everyone! 🌵☀️

Happy New Year, everyone! As the calendar turns to 2026, we are trading the high altitudes of the Eastern Sierra for the wide-open landscapes of the Arizona desert. We couldn’t be more excited to begin our winter camping season in one of our favorite regions.

Our First Stop: Lake Havasu City Our journey begins in Lake Havasu, a place known for its stunning water views and vibrant desert energy. But this trip is about more than just the scenery; it’s about community.

For the first time ever, we are attending the Xscapers Annual Bash! This year’s event, "Get Your Kicks at Bash '26," celebrates the 100th anniversary of Route 66. We’ve heard incredible things about this gathering, which features a full week of live music, themed nights, and—most importantly—desert boondocking with hundreds of other RVers.

Connecting with the Community One of the things we love most about this lifestyle is the people. We are looking forward to reconnecting with old friends we haven't seen in a while and making plenty of new ones as we dive into the Bash activities.

Whether you're a long-time follower or new to our journey, we invite you to come along as we explore Lake Havasu and experience everything the Bash has to offer! 🚙💨

Stay tuned for our upcoming videos from the desert:

Happy Holidays Everyone! Our Newest Adventure is LIVE NOW!

The Eastern Sierra adventure continues! 🏔️🚙💨

We had a few delays getting this one across the finish line, but we are so excited to announce that our latest video is officially LIVE NOW on YouTube!

This journey was a massive undertaking for our rig. We put our truck and trailer to the ultimate test, navigating a 4,000-foot climb to reach Grandview Campground at 8,600 feet. Using that as our high-altitude base camp, we pushed even further into the White Mountains—reaching over 10,000 feet in elevation to find the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest.

Standing among giants that have been alive for over 4,800 years is an experience that is hard to put into words. These trees were saplings when the Great Pyramids were being built! Between the steep towing and the thin mountain air, this was a journey we will never forget.

Thank you for your patience while we finished this one up. We hope the views from the "roof of the world" are the perfect holiday treat for you and your family!

The Eastern Sierra adventure continues! 🏔️🚙💨

For our next Eastern Sierra episode, we’re taking you off the beaten path and way up into the clouds! We drove the truck high into the White Mountains above Bishop, CA, to find the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest.

Standing among these twisted, gnarled giants is a humbling experience. They’ve survived thousands of years in some of the harshest conditions on the planet, and the views from 10,000 feet are absolutely breathtaking. 🌲✨

Getting here was a true adventure—filled with rugged off-road trails, steep climbs, and some incredible hiking. We can’t wait to show you this side of the Sierras!

Come Say Hi! We’re Joining the First-Ever Content Creator Meet & Greet at the Q!

If you’ve been following our journey for a while, you know that the Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show (or just "The Q") is a highlight of our travel calendar. There is nothing quite like the energy of thousands of RVers gathering in the desert, the endless rows of vendors, and, of course, the community campfires.

But this year, we are doing something a little different—and we are so excited to finally share the news with you!

It’s Official: We Are Joining the Content Creator Meet & Greet!

For the first time ever, the show is organizing a massive Meet & Greet to bring creators and the community together, and Bob Crowe and I are very excited to be part of the lineup.

We love sharing our adventures online, but nothing beats real-life connection. We want to take this chance to actually meet the amazing people behind the comments, hear your stories, and share some laughs in person.

Whether you are a long-time subscriber or we’ve just met, we would love for you to stop by.

Happy Friday!

We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family, friends, and good food. If you’re relaxing today and looking for a little escape, our latest video is officially LIVE!

This week, we are taking you to one of our favorite stops in the Eastern Sierra: Bridgeport, California. This area turned out to be a total "Must See" for us.

In this video, we explore:

  • Bodie Ghost Town: Walking the eerie, frozen-in-time streets of this historic gold mining town. 👻

  • Mono Lake: Seeing the famous "tufa" towers and the unique landscape that looks like another planet. 🌅

  • Hot Springs: Checking out the natural hot springs the area is famous for.
