With a mix of excitement and apprehension, we boarded the ferry in Valdez, our RV in tow, and set sail across the stunning Prince William Sound to Whittier, AK! The ferry ride was truly breathtaking, even with the intermittent rain. While it might not be the most budget-friendly travel option, the fuel savings and unforgettable scenery made it worthwhile.Arriving in Whittier amidst a downpour, we decided to skip our planned town walk and instead headed straight through the impressive Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel - the longest combined auto/train tunnel in North America - to our campsite at Williwaw Campground. Nestled in the Chugach National Forest, this campground is truly picturesque. Unfortunately, the rain persisted, so we cut our stay short and made our way to Seward.
