📢 From the Mexican Border to the Alaskan Wilderness and Back Again: Join us on the ultimate RV adventure! 🚐🐻🎣🏔️🚠

We're hitting the road for an epic journey that will take us from the sun-drenched landscapes of Southern California all the way to the rugged beauty of Alaska – and back again! We'll be living the RV life, exploring diverse terrains, seeking out incredible wildlife, and documenting our experiences every step of the way.

Get ready to follow along as we...

Mid July:

  • Kick off the adventure with a visit to YouTube friends in Washington: Stay tuned to see who we are going to meet!
  • Ascend the Sea to Sky Highway and take the Sea to Sky Gondola: Soaking in the majestic views of Howe Sound from above.
  • Then we take off on the remote Stewart-Cassiar Highway: Venturing into the wild heart of British Columbia on this scenic and less-traveled route.
  • Search for bears and get "Hyderized" in Hyder, Alaska: Experiencing the unique charm of this remote Alaskan town known for its bear viewing opportunities.

Early August:

  • Explore Valdez and fish in its scenic waters: Soaking in the beauty of this coastal Alaskan town before taking a ferry to Whittier.
  • Camp in  the Chugach National Forrest and explore the entire Kenai Peninsula: Discovering the beauty of Seward, Homer, the Russian River, and beyond. We'll do some fishing here too!

Mid August:

  • Spend a week in Denali National Park: Immersing ourselves in the wilderness and searching for wildlife in this iconic national park.
  • Camp north of Fairbanks on the Chatanika River and chase the Northern Lights: Hoping to witness this breathtaking natural phenomenon under the Arctic sky.
  • Cross the Arctic Circle: Marking a significant milestone on our journey.

Early September:

  • Delve into the gold rush history of Chicken, Alaska, and explore the unique frontier town of Dawson City: Experiencing the rich history and rugged charm of these remote communities. We may even sample a sour-toe cocktail!

Mid September:

  • Return via the iconic Alaskan Highway: Dropping through the famed parks of Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton for more breathtaking scenery and wildlife encounters.

This is a huge trip for us, and it requires a lot of planning and preparation. While we've been hard at work on these activities for the past several months, we're hoping some of you who have done this before may help us with comments and suggestions. We value your insights and experiences!

Of particular importance on this trip is our ability to stay connected and continue working our regular jobs. This means we will be doing a lot of short hops  as we work our way north and back, and the stops need to have good network - either Starlink or cellular - that makes the planning even more fun!

We'll be sharing regular updates, photos, and videos throughout our journey, so make sure to follow us on our social media and subscribe to our YouTube channel (see links at the top of this page).

If all goes as planned (does it ever?) we will be in Alaska for 33 days,  Canada for 26 days, and the Continental USA for 14 days.

This is an adventure for the books – we can't wait to share it with you!
